This is the 2nd attempt at learning Objective-C. I have decided to arrange some training as I am having no luck learning in my spare time. The training is gonna be expensive so I have asked the people running the course for some back ground reading and one recommended “learning Objective-C”. I am half way through and feel the book is taking the piss out of it’s self, me and the language. This is the way I like learn :) I will hopefully arrange the course for early next year.

I used my iphone to take a recording of my teacher so I had some referece for my practice. I am very impressed with the iphones recordings. Here is the link to the file.
Over the weekend I installed windows 7 on my iMac with boot camp. All seemed to be going well untill I got into windows and attempted to install the drivers on the snow leppard DVD. I got a error message saying that the driver software was not compatible with x64. After a bit of research i found this link explaining what to do to resolve the issue..
1) Do a search for cmd.exe , Right click on the icon and select run as admin, Click yes to the box that pops up.
2) Enter D:
cd “Boot Camp\Drivers\Apple”
msiexec /i BootCamp64.msi
3) then follow the install.
Everything worked a treat after that. I have not had much chance to play with it much because I was playing COD 4 all weekend. But first impressions were very good it looks very slick. I will update my version of parrells in a couple of days and have a play around.
